I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson , students will be able to :
Abilities: - get an overall view of 
 + the topic of the whole unit “ ASEAN and its MEMBER STATES” 
 that they are going to be taught in the unit through a dialogue ( accompanied by a comprehension task – questions and answers)
Skills: doing comprehension task like true, false, making questions and answer, working in groups, working in pairs; having some practice with the vocabulary items
stand for, bloc, aim and purpose, improve economy, maintain regional peace and stability, charter, principle, external interference
