I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson , students will be able to :
1. Skills: 
- listen to a sample dialogues and understand the ideas presented in that , practise the dialogue à get to know the topic and some vocabulary related to the topic World Heritages that they are going to be taught in the unit through a dialogue ( accompanied by a comprehension task – questions and answers)
 Heritage , complex, intact ,dynasty , dynasty , relic ,excavation
2. Abilities:
- to cooperate in pairs /groups to finish the assigned tasks à get an overall view of the World Heritage Sites in Viet Nam

Most of the citadel built during the Ly dynasty in the 11th century and then expanded by subsequent dynasties was demolished in the early 20th century.
The only structure to remain intact is the Flag Tower of Hano

I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson , students will be able to :
1. Abilities: 
- use words and vocabulary related to the topic Heritage sites ( practice the skill of guessing word missing)
- learn and use new vocabulary items with contextual meanings
 - use the participle and the to- infinitive cause
 - use rising and falling intonation for CHOICE questions 
 2. Skills: 
 - do comprehension task like true, false, making questions and answer
- work in groups, in pairs

A relative clause can be replaced by a participle or a to- infinitive clause
We can use a past participle to replace a relative clause with a passive verb.
Present participles can be used when the verb in the clause is in the continuous tense , or denotes a habitual action or a wish.
To- infinitive clauses can be used after : the first , the second . ,next , last ,only ,very and sometimes after superlatives 
Activity 2 : Rewrite sentences replacing the relative clauses with participle or to- infinitive clauses
