Lesson 5 : Listening “ Outstanding people with disabilities’
I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson , students will be able to :
Abilities:
- to understand a short about a disable person through listening
- to use the words / phrases related to the topic such as outstanding,
supportive, treated equally, glass-bone, disease, genetic disorder, fragile
bones, inspire, charitable campaign, potential, recognition to talk about
outstanding but disabled people
- to appreciate the endurance of disabled people as well as to learn how to
behave towards them appropriately
Skills:
- listening for specific information through such tasks as filling table and
completing sentences
II. PREPARATION: textbooks, handouts, CD player
III. PROCEDURE:
