DOUBLE COMPARISON 
Comparative adjectives  
1. We use  comparative adjectives  to show change or make comparisons: 
Ex. 
a- This car is certainly  better ,   but it's much  more expensive .b- I'm feeling  happier  now.c- We need a  bigger  garden. 
2. We use  than  when we want to  compare one thing with another : 
Ex. 
a- She is two years older  than  me.b- New York is much bigger  than  Boston.c- He is a better player  than  Ronaldo.d- France is a bigger country  than  Britain. 
3. When we want to  describe how something or someone changes   we can use two comparatives with  and :  
a- The balloon got  bigger and bigger .b- Everything is getting  more and more expensive .c- Grandfather is looking  older and older .
